Collocation ：コロケーションというものは、熟語のように、
ある単語と単語が一緒によく使われる連語。ネイティブスピーカー にとってとても自然に聞こえる英語の使われ方です。

This collocation appears a lot in the TOEIC test;

Collocation:
a timely fashion
意味：タイミング良く、適時に、遅れることなく

All reports must be submitted in a timely fashion.
意味：すべてのリポートが遅れることなく提出されるべきである。

**Note that even though timely ends in ~ly, it is NOT an adverb, it is an adjective.**

「timely」の末尾は（～ｌｙ）ですが、副詞ではなく形容詞です。

In order to avoid late fees and penalties, please ensure you pay your credit card bill in a timely fashion.
意味： 延滞料と罰金を避けるために、ただちにクレジットカードで支払い手続きをしてください。

** "in a timely manner" is exactly the same meaning and is extremely common in the TOEIC test.**

TOEICテストでもよく出題されますが、「in a timely manner」と同じ意味です。
